Rob joined the team at NBC25 in 2005 when he started working in Master Control. He moved to the production department in 2006 when he became a Newscast Director. Since then, Rob has been a “Jack of all trades,” directing newscasts, shooting and editing stories, helping to manage web content and producing “Healthy Homes.”
Rob is a graduate of Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, MI. After graduating from Specs, he worked an internship with Comcast Local, a high school and college sports channel, as a Camera Operator and Production Assistant. Over the years Rob has also worked on various college and professional sports broadcasts as a Freelance Camera Operator, including Superbowl XL in Detroit.
Rob grew up in Southeastern Michigan, along the U.S. and Canadian border and is a fan of all things Michigan. He loves the water, whether it’s sitting on a boat or the beach. He is a rabid Detroit Tigers fan, going as far as saying he’ll work on Thanksgiving, he’ll work on Christmas, he’ll work on New Years, but he’ll never work on Home Opener.
Rob is a real news and information junky and applies that passion to his work at NBC25 News.
