Mike Horne started working in the Television Industry in July of 1996. During that time he received a B.A. in Communications from the University of Michigan-Flint. People often ask him, “Why did you get into news?” He tells them he wants to be first to a story, do a good job and create a story that people will want to watch. He is a husband and a dad to a beautiful wife and daughter. He is very involved in his church and plays the piano every Sunday. He's also involved in a creative-problem solving program called Destination Imagination and does some MCing at the Regional, State and Global Final levels for the program.
