Flags will wave at half staff Wednesday in honor of Navy Seal Heath Robinson, who died while serving in Afghanistan in August.

Some dentists will pay you to bring in candy so they can ship it to troops   

Some local dentist offices are offering to pay $1 for every pound of candy people bring in to their offices.  The candy will then be shipped to troops overseas.

Twenty-five year old U.S. Army Captain Drew Russell was serving in Kandahar province in Afghanistan when his unit was attacked by enemy forces on October 8, 2011.

Governor Rick Snyder has ordered flags to be lowered Friday for U.S. Marine Staff Sergeant Nicholas A. Sprovtsoff of Davison.

Capt. Drew Russell of Michigan killed in battle   

The Associated Press reports 25-year-old Captain Drew E. Russell was killed in Afghanistan along with a soldier from Nashville.

Davison community pays respects to fallen marine   

Twenty-eight year old Sgt. Nicholas Sprovtsoff died in action last week in Afghanistan.
