Richfield Park BMX will be hosting the Great Lakes Nationals on Friday, June 8th and continues through Sunday, June 10, 2012.Please join us as the event kicks off on Friday morning, June 8 with gate practice and an evening race scheduled to take place at approximately 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the adrenaline rush will fill the air as BMXers from all across the country storm into Davison for this highly anticipated National Race. Expectations of 200+ motos will line the staging area anxiously awaiting their turn at the gate. Bicycle motocross, BMX, is the fastest growing sport in North America and is the latest addition to the Summer Olympics. BMX is fun, healthy, and family friendly; you will commonly see dad, mom, brother and sister enjoying this activity together. Riders range in age from 2 to over 60 and race against others their own age and skill level.
