Bay County G.O.P. to Hold August Primary Watch Party

The Bay County Republican Party will hold a party to view the results of the August primary election on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 7 p.m. at World Café, 200 Center Avenue, Bay City. “We look forward to seeing who will fill out our ticket to take on President Obama in November,” said Bay County G.O.P. chairman Aaron J. Baylis. “I know that the Republican Party will have a strong set of candidates in November, from Mitt Romney for President of the United States, to our candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, the state House, county-wide offices, the county board of commissioners and township officials.”Tom Wassa, one of two candidates for the Republican nomination for the U.S. House in the Fifth District, will be present at the event, as well as various local candidates.The Party also is pleased to announce that they will soon be opening a campaign headquarters at 1201 South Euclid Avenue, Bay City, on the upper level of the Garner-Ayres Building.
