FIRST ANNUAL NORTHERN vs. CENTRAL ALUMNI TURKEY GAME

Original Northern vs. Central Turkey Game Returns to Atwood Stadium With A Twist; Alumni Will Battle In a Flag Football Game Thanksgiving Weekend, Renewing The Rivalry.

Flint - The original Northern vs. Central Turkey Game returns to Atwood Stadium Saturday, November 24th, 2012 from 12-4pm with a flag football game between the alumni of both schools. TradeMark Entertainment and Flint P.A.L. have teamed up to put forth an event that will, as they describe, “bring tradition back to Flint.” According to event coordinator, Eleazar Barzart, there will be 2 games, an all-female (Powder Puff) and an all-male game. They are encouraging alumni to register to play in such a traditional event. To play you must be a graduate of Northern or Central High, be between the ages of 25-50, sign a registration/waiver form and pay a $10 registration fee which secures your shirt. Anyone Interested in playing can sign up at Haskell Community Center located at 2201 Forest Hill Ave or Top Flight Barber Shop at 2601 Ballenger Hwy. Registration ends November 10th.
