Kolb Elementary School Receives Bay Area Community Foundation Grants to Revitalize Playground
Bay City, MI – The Bay Area Community Foundation has generously given Kolb Elementary School in Bay City three grants in the total amount of $11,000 to help build a new playground. The grants awarded to Kolb Elementary are the Community Initiative Fund for $5000, the Youth Advisory Endowment Fund for $5000, and the Civic League of Bay County Advisory Endowment Fund for $1000. The first phase of installing new playground equipment at Kolb is underway, and is expected to be completed soon. This would not have been possible without the help of the Bay Area Community Foundation and the grant programs the Foundation oversees.
