UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI -- Picket signs are expected today at Delta College, to protest environmental policies. Specifically, they'll target the Michigan Energy Public Forum at the Lecture Theater from 1-5. Among the groups expected to attend:  theSierra Club.

They want more wind energy. They also want less coal energy, claiming coal costs us $1 billion per year in health costs. The group says wind is getting cheaper and cheaper and that it creates jobs.

The agenda for March 4th is in the following linkhttp://www.michigan.gov/documents/energy/Delta_agenda_411848_7.pdf

The environmentalists are urging people to wear their t-shirts to the meeting, to show strength in numbers.
