Our purpose at Genesee Valley Church is summarized in a single statement:

“Loving God, Loving People, Loving LIFE”

Our statement of purpose is based on two teachings of Jesus:

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart …soul and …mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:36-40)

He said to them, “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10: 10)

The reason Genesee Valley Church exists:

• Experience God in a real and personal way.
• Worship freely in a manner in which they are comfortable.
• Participate in ministry that touches the lives of those around them.
• Connect with others through relationships that glorify God and strengthen one another.
