What to do? What to do? Here are some fun ideas.

.Call some friends and have a potluck and game night. Don't worry if you don't have the latest games. Write out a bunch of movie, song, and book titles and play charades. Play poker with pretzels.

.Going to a movie is fine if it's not what you do every weekend. There's just not that many great movies to see and with tickets topping $8 and popcorn and a drink at over $10, you could get some real entertainment!

.Go downtown and stroll. Find an outdoor (weather permitting) bistro and people-watch. It's not just for Paris.

.Like to sing? Like to sing but no one likes to hear you sing? That's why they have Karaoke! Karaoke is not just for those of you who can back up Mariah Carey. Oh no, real Karaoke is for real people who just want to belt out a few tunes.

.Want to save the money (or calories)? Just go out for some dessert or ice cream. You don't have to spend big bucks for some fun.

.A bubble bath is a wonderful way to spend Friday night. Put on some music, pour a glass of wine, submerge into the silky bubbles and let the cares of the week melt away. Soak until the water goes cold.

.Like to dance? You don't have to go to a smoke-filled bar to kick up your heels (although that's an option, too). Invite a few friends over, move the couch and loveseat out of the way and crank up the stereo. If the neighbors complain, invite them over!

.Make something fun! How about some chocolate chip cookies, a model airplane, or a picnic table? Whatever your hobby, Friday night is a great time to get out the ingredients, tools, or whatever and play until you're too tired to play anymore. Got kids? Teach them your hobby. Take your time and enjoy them while you have them.

9. Break out the board games! Remember how much fun you had playing board games when you were a child? Those games and some new ones are just as fun as they have always been. So drag your old games out of storage and dust them off for a fun evening with family or friends.

.No Top 10 list would be complete without mentioning taking the family to a Michigan Warriors home game at the Perani Arena Center. Lower level tickets are $10, upper level tickets are $8 - an inexpensive way to enjoy a night with the kids!
