Business Type: Welcome to Montrose Orchards! Still owned and operated by the Hill family, Montrose Orchards is a third generation farm in it's 83rd year. The orchard is nearly 200 acres strong with primary crops being apples, pumpkins, pears, asparagus, blueberries, strawberries, and cherries. With 20 acres of U-pick blueberries, we draw folks from all over the state and beyond. We sell all Michigan-grown fruits as they come into season. We currently have over 30 varieties of apples, raised on 100 acres, along with pears, plums, cherries and blueberries. Another 50 acres of mature apple trees are being rented around the area to maintain an ample supply of apples for fresh sale during the years its takes to grow young apple trees into production.
Our farm market is open from Mid-May through December 31st every year. We offer all fresh Michigan fruits as they come into season. We have a wide variety of Michigan products as well as some from our neighboring states! Here is just a partial list of what you can expect to find at Montrose Orchards: Fresh Fruit (in season) Frozen Fruits and Vegetables, Fresh Pressed Apple Cider (in season) Apple Cider Slush (in season), Honey (a great selection of flavors and sizes to choose from) Syrups, Ice Cream , Jams, Jellies & Preserves, Jars of Salad Dressings, Grilling Sauces and Condiments, Canned Fruits, Emu Products, Natural Tart Cherry Juice and Cherry Juice Concentrate, Crafts, Unique gift items & lots of fun seasonal items . Along with market products, we have Debbie's Kitchen within our store. Debbie's Kitchen keeps the place smelling wonderful with fresh baked goods. Donuts, pies, cookies, breads...it's all here!

Question Why is it valuable to customers to get to know you and your staff? (build a relationship) Answer The staff here go out of there way to be helpful, we answer all questions. Question What do you contribute to your community? (charity work, environmentally friendly products, employment, etc.) Answer All local organizations we do donations, help school teachers and students with projects, We have tours and educate community. Product goes to Food Bank Question What services do you offer that many people don't know about? Answer We do tours and educate the community about growing fruit and how we process it. We have fresh asparagus, we have a tree spade, for removal . We have frozen fruit and vegetable sale in August. We do gift baskets all year round.
