GENESEE TWP. -- Fire crews were on the scene of a Genesee Township house fire for much of the morning early Wednesday.

They say the same home caught fire twice.

It's located on the 1,000 block of Cass Avenue near North Saginaw Street.

The first fire started around 1a.m.

The fire chief says no one was home at the time of the fire.

Fire crews were able to put that fire out but were called back later after a second fire broke out.

Mt. Morris Township Fire Department assisted Genesee Township crews.

Crews are investigating the cause at this time.
