Stacy has struggled to get her weight under control after going through breast cancer treatments 4 years ago. She’s always been energetic and athletic, but can't seem to get going by herself without motivation. Her neighbor/friend Arnette has struggled as well, putting all her time and attention into her family. Now that we are both focused, we feel we can motivate each other with a little help from some outside sources.

Why do you want to be Mid-Michigan's Biggest Loser?
|
My motivation and desire lies in the fact that I want to be that fun, energetic mom that my kids deserve. I am only 28, and my kids have had to sit back while I fought the breast cancer, and now with weight limitations, waiting for me to be able to participate in family fun. I want to do it for me, but I feel they deserve it the most!! I would make a good team member because I am always upbeat, energetic, and when I set a goal, I'll be darned if I am going to fail!!

My motivation for this competition is to show my daughter that I understand why she wants so badly for me to be healthy like she is working so hard to be. I need to set an example for my children, and realize that up until this point, I have not been so good at that on health front. I would value an opportunity to participate in this program.

Age: 28 Height: 5'11" Weight: 242.2 Weight Loss Update 4/6/2011: 223 lbs
I work seasonally for the American Cancer Society as the Manager for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. I have three awesome children and an amazing husband. I am an after school golf coach, but my weight is starting to limit my abilities to function with the children properly. I also love going to concerts, and spending any time with my family. I am a two-time breast cancer survivor, and have struggled with my weight since going into remission 4 years ago. My husband was in a motorcycle vs. deer accident in August 2010, so we are now getting back to normal, and I would love the opportunity to work on myself a little more now

Age: 45 Height: 5'5" Weight: 223.4 Weight Loss Update 4/6/2011: 200 lbs
For the last 8 years, I have been a stay-at-home mom, raising two children. In that time, I have unfortunately let myself go. My daughter has recently made changes in her life to slim down and live a healthier lifestyle and she's inspired me to do the same. It's time to put myself first and make myself healthy for me and my family. I love playing golf with my friend/neighbor Stacy, and we work very well together and have a blast when we are together!
