Wednesday, February 01, 2012  A new study released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget show that young adults were not leaving Michigan at quite the same rate as they were in 2008-2009.  In those years the migration rate of 18-19 year olds out of Michigan was 5.5 percent in 2008 and 2009 compared with about 4 percent the following year.  20-24 year olds left the state at a rate of 5.5 percent in 2008-2009 and was down to 4.5 percent in 2009-2010.  The state agency credits the addition of jobs.
