SAGINAW -- Arrive Alive.

That's the theme behind an effort to reduce poor driving decisions among young people.

Students at Saginaw Valley State University hosted a program called "happy hour."

Students steered a high-tech driving simulator to portray what it's like to drive under the influence.

"I think its important to keep pushing the message not to drink and drive, so we;ve found some cool ways to engage our students," student counselor Sara Martinez said.

Students also particpated in a contest judge mocktails, cocktails without alcohol, to learn about non-alcoholic drinks.
