SAGINAW -- Activist and civil rights icon Reverend Jesse Jackson was in Saginaw Friday speaking about the Milton Hall case, the homeless man shot and killed by police on July 1.

The police who shot Hall say they were forced to fire because he was acting aggressively with a knife on that July day.

Jackson says his trip to Saginaw is a part of his nation-wide fight against violence.

He also says this case needs transparency.

"The police who executed him as if they were an execution squad are still on the police. Their names are not revealed.  Police will not tell on police cause there is a code of silence," says the reverend.

Rev. Jackson also met with residents at a town hall meeting Friday night.
