HOLLY (AP) -- Authorities say a 43-year-old man has died after being found unconscious following a bar fight in southeast Michigan.

The Oakland Press of Pontiac and The Flint Journal report Ronald Smith of Oakland County's Highland Township died Monday after being injured Friday in Holly, about 40 miles northwest of Detroit. Police say there apparently was a fight at the bar between Smith and another man, who left afterward.

Police say they arrested a 37-year-old Fenton man who reportedly punched Smith, causing him to fall and strike the back of his head on cement. Smith was found outside the bar.

Police say they're interviewing more than a dozen witnesses. Charges were pending.
