8-year-old Jayden Lamb passed away on November 27, 2012. However, his memory and giving spirit are still very-much alive and well in Mid-Michigan and around the nation.

His two-year battle with cancer gripped the community spurring fundraisers and even a community-wide effort to decorate his hometown with Christmas lights before his passing.

His father, Tom Lamb, says the 8-year-old faced his disease head-on and with a smile. Lamb says his son was a giver always thinking of others.

For that very reason family and friends began an initiative to "pay in forward" in Jayden's honor. That initiative has gripped the hearts of people in Mid-Michigan and even across the nation.

Tom Lamb tells stories of small and large acts of kindness and shares them on Jayden's Facebook page.

Tales of people paying off layaways, leaving $100 tips and spotting those at the drive-through. All done in Jayden's memory.

His parents say it's what Jayden would have wanted. Paying it forward Jayden-style.
