The Genesee District Library is closed until further notice
FLINT TOWNSHIP -- A watermain break at the Genesee Valley Mall has shut down a branch of the Genesee District Library there.
According to Trenton Smiley, Community Relations Officer for the GDL, the water main broke last night, sending water rushing into an arcade and then into the library next door.
While the library is shut down, they are directing patrons to their branch locator site.
Last month the branch circulated over 8,000 items.
