Grand Blanc Academy's Middle School Student of the Month for May is a quiet, kind hearted 7th grader that has not gotten in trouble a single time this year, or ever that anyone can remember. She is a joy to have in the classroom.

Alandriss Milligan's favorite subject is science. She likes learning "different things... about the human body. All the different organs and bones and the way we function." Nursing is the career she would like to pursue. "In 5th grade I decided". She says she likes helping others and taking care of people. "I help take care of my grandpa and grandma. I take care of my little brother too.".

She enjoys going to GBA. Alandriss has a high opinion of her classmates. She says they are smart, intelligent, funny and hard workers. She likes the dress code rules here because they are simple and easy to follow. When asked what she likes to do in her private time responds "I like to write poetry on the lake by my house.." but says she hasn't shown any to anyone before. She also likes to read, play with her niece and my dog Max. We would like to recognize Alandriss for being a kind, hard working, self-controlled student that is a good example for all of her peers.
