This story is going to make nearly ALL mothers irate! I say "nearly" all mothers because clearly, according to this next story, there are mothers out there who are obviously out of their FLIPPIN' mind!

The Sun reports, 34-year-old Kerry Campbell gives her 8-year-old daughter Britney waxes, Botox and lip injections so she can stand out in beauty pageants. EIGHT YEARS OLD!

According to The Sun, once every three months, Britney climbs on a beautician's table and watches as her mother prepares needles of Botox and fillers to be injected into her face. Kerry, who is a beautician, buys the substances online and injects them into her daughter's forehead, lips and around her eyes. She is a "beauty-pageant obsessed" single mother.

Get this... she also takes her daughter to get her body waxed, in a "bizarre bid to stop her growing hair when she eventually hits puberty," according to The Sun

All of this to "guarantee" the mother says that, "Britney becomes a famous teenager."

In The Sun report, Britney's mother is quoted saying, "What I am doing for Britney now will help her become a star. I know one day she will be a model, actress or singer, and having these treatments now will ensure she stays looking younger and baby-faced for longer. I'm sure people reading this will think I am being irresponsible, but I ensure that I test the Botox and fillers I buy online on myself first. All I want is for Britney to have the best start in life, so it's easier for her to become a superstar."

And finally she says, "More mothers should do it for their daughters."

REALLY?!

The Sun quotes Britney saying, "my friends think it's cool I have all the treatments and they want to be like me. I check every night for wrinkles, when I see some I want more injections. They used to hurt, but now I don't cry that much. I also want a boob and nose job soon, so that I can be a star."

My Two Cents: To me, this is absolutely absurd. I don't even think I need to argue my point here. I would NEVER in a MILLION years even think about any type Botox or lip injections for my daughter. This is the problem with the world today. So many people look at the magazines and the movies and think that's what "beauty" is.

Putting make-up on your child and "dolling" them up to young is ONE thing, but injecting them with potentially dangerous treatments is just ABSURD and wrong.

As a mother, I will do my best to raise my daughter with her knowing how beautiful she is naturally and when it's time to experiment with a little make-up, shaving her legs, waxing the bikini line, etc. that is fine. However, I will never lead her to believe her lips are not big enough and/or her skin is too wrinkly.

What are your thoughts?

Would you give your young daughter the same treatments?

Tired of covering your child's eyes? What happened to quality tv and movies?

I can't even turn on our television at home or even rent a movie without the fear of my daughter being subjected to trash!
