A Genesee County judge sentenced the man convicted of torturing and murdering 4-year-old Dominick Calhoun to life in prison. Brandon Hayes was convicted in January on ten counts, including first- and second-degree murder. Judge Richard Yuille also sentenced Dominick’s mother, Corrine Baker, to 20 years in prison for second-degree murder.

Dominick Calhoun – a blonde-haired, blue-eyed 4-year-old remembered for his bright personality - was discovered moaning, almost dead, lying on the floor when police arrived on scene on April 11, 2010. Little Dominick died the next day.
