Wednesday, December 07, 2011  Police say a 42-year-old Marcel Stutz shot and killed his wife, 43-year-old Lara Stutz, shot his 9-year-old son, and then turned the gun on himself. The child was taken to the hospital and two other younger children were also taken from the home.

Wednesday, April 06, 2011  Trooper Jeffrey Werda, 43, had a long history of going out of his way to help others.   He served as a police officer, trooper, volunteer first responder, and even spoke out against police brutality he witnessed while trying to help victims of hurricane Katrina.
