Monday, April 30, 2012  I-69 was shut down for almost two hours on Sunday night after a man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.  It happened around 8:30 p.m. near on westbound I-69 on State and Irish roads.

Friday, April 20, 2012  Flint Township police have released the name of the motorcyclist killed on I-69 Thursday, and have arrested a second cyclist on unrelated charges.  Police say two motorcyclists riding in tandem as they were exiting from the north/southbound I-75 ramp onto eastbound I-69.  The lead motorcyclist passed a pick-up truck on the right and motioned for the second rider, who didn’t see a semi truck, collided into its side and died on impact.
