Officials are brainstorming about what to do with muck. During the next few months the Department of Environmental Quality and the Partnership for Saginaw Bay Watershed will be discussing how to remove and dispose of muck in the Saginaw Bay.

Continuing the fight against the much problem in Saginaw Bay, State Representative Jeff Mayes announced on Monday that a plan to limit the amount of phosphorous dishwasher and laundry detergents has passed the House and Senate, and is now awaiting the Governor's signature.
