The Saginaw Sting hosted Travis Mills Night, giving $3 from each $10 ticket sold to the Mills Family Foundation. U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills lost both his arms and legs in Afghanistan last month, when he stepped on an IED. Mills former coach at Vassar High School teamed up with the hockey team to organize the fundraiser.

The former co-owner of two Michigan indoor football teams is charged with embezzlement. Michael Johnson is accused of converting funds from the Saginaw Sting and Kalamazoo Xplosion for personal use.
