FLINT TOWNSHIP -- A new burger business has been named one of the top new burger joints of 2012.
Freakin' Unbelieveable Burgers on Corunna Road was the only Michigan restaurant to be nominated by Burger Business, a national burger publication.
"Everybody comes in here to order the Freakin Burger or they come in here and build incredible burgers out of our 44 toppings that we have to offer for them," general manager Joan Thornton said.
Key factors include the use of local or regional products, the ability to purchase craft beers, and an emphasis on signature burgers.
Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers opened in May of 2012 in Flint, Michigan. The fast-casual gourmet burger concept is the first location for Michigan based restaurant group Spartan Pastabilities, which also owns Harvey's Grill and Bar & Hayden's Grill and Bar.
