For Chesaning auto dealer Mark Ervin, the 2013 Ford Escape is an early Christmas gift.
Ervin is the son of Mel Ervin, whose Ford dealership has been in Chesaning for about 30 years. The younger Ervin is thrilled with the new Escape and he isn't alone. Consumer Reports, long known for favoring Japanese vehicles, says the 2013 Ford Escape is a hit. The magazine says it's "solid, sophisticated, and fun to drive. It delivers agile handling and a taut yet impressively supple, composed ride. It's cabin is one of the quietest in it's class. Both EcoBoost and turbocharged 4 cylinder engines are fuel efficient".
Ervin showed off a new Escape during NBC 25 Today. He says the model is priced in the 20's and gets more than 30 miles a gallon on the highway. It'smade in Louisville, KY.
