Police say they now believe that damage to a car on U.S. 23 Monday morning is unrelated to the string of recent shootings in the Interstate 96 corridor. They say a projectile of some sort, not a bullet, caused the damage. Meanwhile, the FBI and ATF are offering $50,000 each for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspected gunman. Crime Stoppers of Mid-Michigan is offering $2,000.
