Amid report that compares Vehicle City blight to hurricane Katrina, city chooses the towers

A new report out from the New Orleans Community Data Center, using data from the US Postal Service and HUD, suggests the number of unoccupied properties in Flint and Detroit combined exceeds the number that existed in New Orleans in the immediate years following Hurricane Katrina.
