A 20 year old cold case from Saginaw looks like it could be solved. In February of 1989, Kimberly Currington, 28, was murdered. The only witnesses were her three young children, ages 6, 7 and 9. It took them 20 years to gain enough courage to speak out to police.
Tuesday, July 7th around noon, 55 year old Esau Buriel of Saginaw was arrested and on July 8th charged with beating and stabbing Kimberly Currington. Buriel was Currington's boyfriend at the time of her murder.
