PARKLAND, Wash. (AP) - A gunman who killed four police officers at a coffee shop in Washington may have been wounded by one of the officers.

Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer told reporters Sunday afternoon that one of the officers struggled out the door and fired his gun at the attacker.

Troyer asked clinics and hospitals to report anyone who shows up with a gun wound.

Troyer says two of the officers were shot and killed as they sat at a table Sunday morning, working on their laptops. One was shot standing up. And the fourth fought with the gunman and made it outside and was able to get off some shots.
