It’s like Nascar on ice.
At the Caro 150 Winter Fest and Snowmobile Races, its 3 days of winter fun at the Tuscola County Fairgrounds.
Featuring professional snowmobile racing, there's also contests for the kids, and a fireworks display.
The official mascot of the event, Penelope the penguin, says the event is helping out the local economy.
"Were all struggling right now but the more retailers that are open today and they see visitors coming into town especially the restaurants the hotels are booked our restaurants are already seeing an
increase so it's dollars coming into town that would not normally be here," said Marketing Manager, Kris McArdle.
Sunday is the final day of the Caro 150 winterfest.

- See the 1971 Little Skipper Snowmobile Window Display at the Thumb Area Talent (downtown Caro next to Chemical Bank)
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Warming Tent at Tuscola County Fairgrounds-
- Food & Drink Concessions, Vendor Booths, T-shirt Sales, Door Prizes and Much More
- 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.- Hot Lamps
- 11:30 a.m.- Kitty Kat Races
- Noon- Meet-n-Greet with the Drivers on the Racetrack
- Noon to 3 p.m.- Sledding at the Hill- Chippewa Landing with warming tent and refreshments (weather permitting)
- 1 p.m.- 150 Enduro Race (300 laps)
- 1p.m. to 4 p.m.- Live Entertainment in the Warming Tent featuring- Blue Horizons with Ross Jarvis and special appearance by Breyanna Thayer
- At conclusion of the race, raffle winners will be announced with up to $1,500 possible to win!!!
