Dixie Motor Speedway in Birch Run is helping to raise money for two local girls with a rare disorder.
Seven year old Audrey and four year old Emma have what's called Chiara Type 1 Malformation.
Around one in a thousand people have the illness.
It's where a portion of the brain sticks out from the skull.
Symptoms are severe headaches, numbness, and nausea.
Cindy Chrysler, mother of one of the girls says, "It is overwhelming at first, and it my never come to anything. It may come to horrible side-effects, but what I can do right now is help, and that's what I'm trying to do."
There will be a silent auction at Dixie Motor Speedway Friday, July 2nd, to benefit research for the illness.
Gates open at 5PM, qualifying starts at 5:15PM, with races starting at 7:30PM.
Some of the fastest vehicles on asphalt will be there for the Auto Valve Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints.
