Vandals destroy 6 buses, 2 tractors and 2 vehicles

FREELAND -- Tittabawassee Township Police are searching for the vandals who ransacked six school buses, two tractors and two utility vehicles at the Freeland School District this weekend.

Brake lines were cut, tires were slashed, mirrors were smashed, seats were torn and the interior was destroyed. Police estimate the damage to be anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000.

Police are not sure who would do this or why. They are asking anyone with information on the crime to call them at (989) 695-9623.
