It's China's largest investment in a U.S.-based automotive supplier, and it's in MidMichigan.

Pacific Century Motors now officially owns the former Delphi facility in Saginaw County's Buena Vista Township.

The company says it'll pump in $400-million in the coming years to improve its equipment, operations, and technology in order to provide greener solutions.

Workers approved concessions in order to save jobs and ultimately the operation in Saginaw County.

Nexteer President Bob Remenar said during a Monday afternoon press conference with workers, owners, and investors, "The people in this room saved this business. Each and every one of you contributed in some way."

UAW Region 1D director Gerald Kariem says, "Today we are saying that we're on the world stage, and we can compete with anybody in the world."

Pacific Century Motors employs 8,300 people worldwide, including 3,500 in Saginaw County.
