Two 17-year-olds are being charged as adults for allegedly stealing from vehicles and having a stolen weapon.
Jacob Eggers of Fremont Township and Drew Moll of Saginaw Township are charged with taking a purse and personal items from vehicles in Carrollton and the City of Saginaw within a three-week period.
Authorities say, Eggers was carrying a stolen loaded 45-caliber pistol.
An alert neighbor called 911 after seeing the suspects.
Saginaw County Sheriff William Federspiel says, "A female citizen in our community, out of Fremont Township, noticed there were two subjects in her neighborhood and said, 'They don't belong in my neighborhood. They look suspicious.' They had hoodies on and just the way they were acting. Exactly what we ask the citizens to do."
Authorities also arrested a teen under 17-years-old. She's going through the juvenile justice system.
