NBC25 Photographer Brett Dickie caught some wild weather video this morning.
He saw lightning hitting the NBC25 TV tower above our studio, and decided to grab his camera. Just as he started to record, lightning once again struck our tower. The sound of the thunder, so close to the camera can not be described. You have to watch the awe-inspiring clip!
NBC25’s tower is one of the tallest man made structures in the state, and the tallest television tower in the state. You can see it to your east as you drive north on I-75 between the Clio and Birch Run exits.
