Turnout higher than expected for downtown Flint event

FLINT -- Organizers for the Seventh Annual Back to the Bricks have been forced to end Thursday's car cruise at 9 p.m., after rowdy behavior from some spectators on Wednesday night.

The cruise was originally scheduled to end at 10 p.m.

The five-day event is expected to bring close to 250,000 people to downtown Flint.

The main car shows are still scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday.
