FRANKENMUTH -- Fun music, delicious German food, and of course BEER! It’s that time of year again for Frankenmuth’s Oktoberfest!

This year’s fun kicks off Friday night at Heritage Park, located on Weiss Street.  Parking is free.

The Frankenmuth festivities have been officially sanctioned by Lord Mayor Christian Ude of German, making it the only city outside of Munich to receive such honors!

There will be Weiner Dog races, Dancing, and of course German beer and food. For a full list of events, click here!

Friends from the Frankenmuth BrewerySullivan’s Black Forest, musicians, and the Oktoberfest Director stopped by NBC25 Friday morning. You can catch some of that fun on the video above.
