Agriculture goods to be used to create new products

GRAND BLANC -- U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow in Grand Blanc Monday to launch her 'Grow it Here, Make it Here' campaign.

The proposed intiative looks to add jobs in Michigan, by using agriculture goods to create new products like car seats and head rests.

"Its cleaner, its lighter, its more energy efficient. Its grown right here in Michigan, and it gets us off of foreign oil," said Senator Stabenow.

The plan would give substantial tax credits to U.S. companies that embrace biomanufacturing.
