Missing infant's father to go to trial in her disappearance

LUDINGTON -- A 21-year-old Michigan father will go to trial in the case of his missing infant, Katherine “Kate” Phillips.

Ariel Courtland, the 4-month-old’s mother, says she last saw the infant in a car with Phillips on June 29th outside her apartment in the Ludington area. 

Phillips faces parental kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment.

The Ludington Daily News reports Phillips will go to trial on January 17th.  If found guilty, he faces 15 years behind bars.
