MIDLAND CO. -- Dozens of dogs and cats are in need of a home at the Midland County Humane Society.
The organization says they have reached their maximum capacity for puppies, kittens, and adult pets as well. They are now desperately searching for good homes for these furry friends.
They’re currently running a special. Kittens are $60 and if you buy one, you can take another one home for free. Older cats are $20 or two for $30, and if a cat is over 4 years old, he/she will be free.
All the cats are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped in case they get lost. They also come with 1 month free Shelter Care Pet Insurance to cover any emergencies or illnesses.
Adoptions can be made at 4371 E. Ashman in Midland at the following days / times:
Mondays from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Tuesdays through Fridays from 12:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Midland County Humane Society is also looking for “foster” homes. The shelter will pay for all medical expenses for cats in the foster program. If you’re interested in having a pet come into your home until he/she can be adopted, call 989-835-1877.
You can learn more about adoptable pets on the Midland County Humane Society website.
