Preliminary hearings continue for father accused of biting, beating 2-year-old to death

FLINT TWP. -- A father, accused of biting and then beating his 2-year-old daughter to death inside a Flint Township home in early July 2011, has been bound over to Circuit Court.

A medical examiners' report says Ti’Arra Woodward died of blunt force trauma to the chest,  but was also found with bite marks on her body.  Wednesday morning during the preliminary hearing, forensic expert testified about the bite marks found on the little girl's body.

In earlier police reports, polce say Donovan Haynes admitted to biting the toddler.

Haynes is scheduled to be in Circuit Court on December 5, 2011.  If found guilty of these charges, he faces life in prison.
