Former Flint hockey great Bob Perani has died.  Perani was a longtime player for the Flint Generals and a well-loved business owner.  He owned Perani’s Hockey World and is the namesake of the Perani Arena & Event Center, where the Michigan Warriors play.

Warriors owner Pat McEachern reacted to the news Sunday.

“There was absolutely no question of his contribution to hockey in Flint and in the greater Flint area.”

Perani was 69 years old.
