Adopt-A-Pet in Fenton takes in 25 seized dogs from puppy mill

FENTON TOWNSHIP -- The Adopt-A-Pet in Fenton is helping find homes for 25 dogs seized from a puppy mill earlier this week in Allegan County.

The dogs were among 352 small puppies taken from a home in Cheshire Township.  The homeowners were arraigned Wednesday on felony animal cruelty charges, according to MLive.

Rob Morey, from Adopt-A-Pet in Fenton, said the dogs have all been groomed and given names.  They also were given shots, flea treatment and had their blood tested for heartworm. They wil be neutered or spayed before they are adoped out, he said.
