A Flushing High School student is proud to be chosen as one of the winners at the Meijer Great Choices Film Festival. Casey Zimmerman, 16, placed in the top ten in the "character" catagory of the contest.

Zimmerman's video entitled "
Compassion" is thirty seconds and portrays a student who is bullied in school. Although Casey has never been a victim of bullying, he does have close friends who are or have been.

Sixty Michigan students from Michigan were honored all together. The videos are expected to be sent out to schools across the entire state and are also expected to play in Meijer stores across the midwest.
