Body found at Brent Run landfill

Canadian police say the death of a man who's body was found in a Genesee County landfill on Friday, may not have been foul play.

Ontario, Peel Regional Police authority spokesman George Tudos says the body found this week at the Brent Run Landfill in Montrose Township, may have been that of a missing Ontario man, but the identity hasn't been confirmed. 38-year-old Kevin Arendt was last seen leaving a liquor store in Mississauga Ontario, near Toronto back on June 27th.

He may have wandered into a dumpster, but that hasn't been confirmed. Tudos says they "strongly believe" its Arendt.

It was found amid the trash at the Brent Run landfill, which regularly recieves garbage and other waste from the Toronto area. The body was taken to Flint's Hurley Medical Center for an autopsy.
