Limited time offer allows returns on new cars
BIRCH RUN -- From now until September 4th if you buy a new Chevrolet at participating dealers across the country, and you don't like it, you can bring it back for a cash refund.
There are a few conditions. First, you have to own it more than 30 days, but less than 61. Any damage to the vehicle must total less than $300 and the car must not have more than 4,000 miles on it. If those conditions are met, you can get your refund.
Andy Suski of Suski Chevrolet/Buick in Birch run says it's about standing behind the product.
"Chevrolet has the belief that they are going to love the car," says Suski. "It's try it, like it, love it, keep it."
A policy very similar to shoes. Clark Bostonian, a local shoe store in Birch run allows returns as long as the product is re-salable. The manager, Tanya Primeau says Chevy's deal is extraordinary because a car is so expensive.
"I think it's pretty much a no hassle deal I think it would be good," she says.
Suski says some dealers are offering a $500 rebate that you don't get if you return the car. The promotion began July 10th.
