FENTON -- Authorities have identified a teenage girl as the victim of a train-pedestrian collision in Genesee County earlier this week.

Audrey Seigle,17, died on Monday when a Canadian National train hit her on tracks that run under U.S. 23 in Fenton.

Reports indicate that Seigle was walking westbound along the rail when she was struck.

A Canadian National railroad spokesman says the train was heading eastbound from Gaines to Holly.

Authorities say the accident is still under investigation.
